Revelation – The Word Of Faith
It’s been a while since I’ve written a blog, but lately I’ve been letting the Lord guide how He wants to speak to and through me. Sometimes His words come so quickly that I can hardly type fast enough, and other times He meets me in quiet moments with His Word, revealing truth as we talk. Right now, my mind is overflowing with thoughts I can’t write down fast enough—thank God for technology that helps me keep up!
So, anywho… So much has been happening lately, and the Lord has been speaking so clearly. It feels like a whirlwind of emotions inside me as I step into a new season—one that’s familiar, yet deeper. It’s like I’ve been here before, but now I’m walking it out on another level—kind of like how 29 can feel like a new 19, just with more wisdom and purpose. Do you get it? Like, am I making sense?
This season feels familiar—I’ve walked through it before, but only at a foundational level. Now, I can sense in my spirit that I’ve leveled up, and interestingly, it’s happening around the same time of year as it did about three years ago. So it makes me wonder—
SO WHAT IS THE LORD SAYING?
Honor the Authority that has been placed in your life. The idea of “submitting to the governing authorities” isn’t something many are accustomed to, yet it is a clear command. I’ve realized that my growth in the Kingdom of God is measured by how I receive and respond to those placed in authority over me. We cannot treat these individuals as common. Let those with ears to hear, hear! The Lord has dealt with me very sternly about this.
When we interact with someone in a position of leadership, our personal feelings about them don’t matter. What matters is honoring the office they hold—especially if we desire to be trusted by the Lord for greater assignments. Failing to do so is not just disobedience; it’s building Babylon and directly opposing God’s Word.
Do NOT copy the customs of the world. We are not to find our worth or identity in the world—and that includes the common church. By “common church,” I mean places where people aren’t being corrected in the deeper things of the Lord, but are instead taught mostly about behaviors and natural customs. As a result, they struggle to walk in the supernatural. Many understand the concept of “denominations,” but few realize there is a right and wrong way to approach the Word. I’m not speaking to condemn anyone’s approach, but to offer clarity on what it truly means to walk in the supernatural.
Let me break this down:
The word “supernatural” means beyond scientific understanding and points to the spiritual, energetic dimension (or the unseen realm)—the source from which light springs forth. This realm is often referred to as the “ether” or the “cosmic” dimension.
Paul says in 2 Corinthians 4:18 “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary (subject to change) but what is unseen is eternal (last forever)”— It is through faith that we access this eternal reality, “For it is by grace you have been saved through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God” – Ephesians 2:8
And we know that the victory that Christ got that we now have to overcome the world (what is seen) is our “Faith.” – 1 John 5:4
“We walk by Faith and not by sight…” – 2 Corinthians 5:7
“…The Just shall Live by Faith” – Romans 1:17
“And without faith it is impossible to please God…” – Hebrews 11:6
BUT what is Faith?
“Now Faith is the substance (firm foundation, confidence) of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” – Hebrews 11:1
We began breaking this down talking about the “supernatural” or the things we don’t see. The Lord, through Paul, told us that this is what we need to focus on—according to the above scripture, Faith is evidence (proof, the thing that is proved or tested) of the unseen things or eternal things. In other words, the Faith that you have will be tried, by who? The enemy. To prove God to be wrong and His word to be inaccurate. His ammo is to try and keep you from believing or even seeing the truth of the word AND he will go through great lengths to get you off.
“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”- Hebrews 11:3—the things we see (in the natural) were made by things we don’t see, they sprung forth from the unseen realm. So the ability to transact between these realms (the seen and the unseen) require Faith. We need faith to pull our vision (in the unseen) into the seen (the material world).
Next question then is HOW do we get Faith?
“So then Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” – Romans 10:17—but if receiving faith requires hearing then we need to know where to go in order to hear…
“How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” – Romans 10:14 — This scripture (in the original Greek text) is saying “How will they invoke or call to themselves by name the things (unseen things) they do not believe? And how will they believe if they have not heard? And how will they hear without someone to tell them?…verse 15 And how will they hear except if someone is sent, appointed or set in place to tell them—those who “preach the gospel of peace and glad tidings of good things!”
PHEW!! This connects back to authority: God uses those He has placed to bring truth and revelation. Submission to authority and alignment with God’s Word are inseparable from walking in the supernatural.
As Paul says, “For I am not ashamed (put to shame) of or by the gospel of Christ (good news) IT is the power of God unto salvation (deliverance, preservation, safety, saving grace) to everyone that believes (are fully persuaded, believe, convinced that it’s true) — In the gospel, the righteousness (condition acceptable to God, correct way to think) is revealed (uncovered, made known) from faith to faith. As it is written, the just shall live by faith.
In Conclusion. I can go on and on with how this all connects— In short, God is calling us to honor authority, reject worldly conformity, and embrace the unseen through faith. This is where true safety, growth, and access to His greater works are found. That said, I want to leave on a hopeful note: we are God’s covenant people. If you’ve made it this far in this post, I believe the Lord is speaking to you through these words, and I pray that this message comes alive in your life, manifesting in every area and drawing you closer into all that He has for you.
Chow 🙂
