Embracing the Journey: Capturing the Evidence of Transformation
Good morning!
I’m so excited to share today, not just because I love using video as a tool to express myself, but because this moment is part of something much bigger. This journey is about capturing my story—a story that’s evidence of what the Lord can do in a life transformed by His grace.
The Lord has shared with me that our lives change in ways we often can’t measure. Time moves forward, and memories fade, but when we document our journey, we create a tangible record of His faithfulness.
Remembering the Past, Embracing the Future
God revealed to me that my life will change so profoundly that I won’t even recognize who I once was. This is why I’m creating a record: to hold myself accountable and to never forget where I’ve come from. There’s a verse in Deuteronomy that reminds me of this:
“Do not forget the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth and confirms His covenant, which He swore to your ancestors.”
Sometimes, it’s easy to get so caught up in where we’re going that we forget where we’ve been. But when I look back at where I am now—rescued from a life of terror—I see how far I’ve come.
A Journey of Transformation
Isaiah 54:4 has been a guiding scripture for me:
“Fear not, for you will not be put to shame; do not be dismayed, for you will forget the shame of your youth.”
This doesn’t mean I’ll forget my youth itself, but the shame and pain associated with it will no longer hold power over me. That promise fills me with hope and anticipation for what’s to come.
I’m excited to document my transformation, not for entertainment or influence, but for testimony. Right now, as I record this, I haven’t even started sharing on social media. This is an authentic journey, one that challenges me to push past fear and step into obedience.
Overcoming Fear and Stepping Into Purpose
Fear of judgment, rejection, and failure has kept me from being on camera for so long. But to combat those feelings, I’ve decided to move forward anyway. The word of God says:
“If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.”
I’m choosing obedience because I believe this is exactly what I’m called to do.
Sharing for Transformation, Not Influence
One thing I want to be clear about: I’m not doing this to become an influencer or to entertain. My purpose is to share my testimony, to document this journey, and to demonstrate God’s transformative power.
The Bible says:
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing, and perfect will.”
As the Lord continues to renew and transform me, I believe my story will serve as an example for others.
An Invitation to Document Your Journey
If you’re in a place of uncertainty—wondering if God is with you, walking by faith and holding onto His promises—I want to encourage you. His word is true, His promises are sure, and He will never leave or forsake you.
I invite you to start your own journey of documenting your story. It doesn’t have to be perfect; it just has to be honest. Record your moments, your prayers, and your victories. You’ll be amazed at how far you’ve come when you look back.
Thank you for being here with me, for listening, and for walking this journey alongside me. I pray this inspires you to embrace your own transformation. Be blessed!
