Finding \”the way\” & working the plan – Bible Study

Lately, I\’ve been learning what it truly means to have intimacy with God. I used to think that God was just some idea that people liked to hold onto because they did not have an answer for what life was… that was until I learned the truth.

The Bible says that you shall know the truth and the truth will MAKE YOU FREE...

That means that there was nothing that would help me to gain a better understanding other than to hit a point in my life where I began to genuinely seek the truth. The word it\’s, after being shared with me, was the one that did the work to \”make me free.\”

I remember the exact day, place and time that this happened. I was at such a vulnerable place in my life that I had nowhere to turn, and I began to cry out asking God to reveal to me who he is. My exact words were: \”I refuse to leave this earth without reaching my fullest potential.\” I literally screamed this out in my car with tears running down my face. A few weeks later, I was standing at the altar giving my life totally to the Lord.

The truth is that God made \”the way\” available to each and every person who will seek him, but for some people that means hitting rock bottom with nowhere else to turn but to him. The question then becomes how are we, those who have found the way, allowing him to use us to assist in that process? I believe that this is what it means when the word says, \”The harvest is plenty, but the laborers are few.\” The Lord is looking for faithful servants who will use their gifts that he has given to them to reach the rest of the world.

Too many people who are believers are \”people pleasers\” and looking for an easy way to work the plan without being persecuted. I\’ve got news, there\’s no easy way. There are so many movements in the world with their own agenda that totally contradict the will of God, and it\’s not the fault of the person contributing, because I am sure if they absolutely knew better, then they would choose better. There is not 1 person in this entire world that would choose to go to hell if the actually knew what that looked like.

The LORD desires that every man come into the knowledge of Christ. I mean we are His children, and He loves us, therefore it\’s our job to walk in that same love, being a demonstration of His love and making \”the way\” known to every person who hits that rock bottom place and is looking for \”the way\” out.

Remember, it\’s the word that does the work, our only job is to share it!

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. – Hebrews 4:12
