The Word is Your SWord.

Today, God laid a word in my spirit and I just had to share, I have a feeling that someone reading this needs to hear it.

Persecution arises for the Words sake.

You may be feeling as though you are experiencing some real temptations lately, like strife, trials, tests, troubles and maybe even serious resistance in your journey. This is not coming from God; it’s coming for His sake.

The moment that you decided to pursue a life of Freedom and Salvation from obesity, you became a target for the enemy. He will not allow you to walk smoothly through life in confidence without a battle. The thief cometh not but to steal, kill and destroy… The enemy is coming to steal your identity and ultimately destroy your destiny. The word says “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart, that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim” [Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭8‬] You must keep the word on hand at all times because it\’s your SWord in battle.

We must allow the word to transform our mind, our heart and our character, this will ultimately manifest in a brighter reality.

You are a spirit, you have a soul, you live in a body.

You are an energetic being (spirit) with a soul, living inside of a body, but What is your soul? Your soul is comprised of your mind, will and emotions. Your thoughts, feelings and decisions are all stem from what you are feeding your soul. If you meditate in the word day and night as it instructs in the word [Joshua 1:8], that word will begin to cleanse, purify and renew your mind, bringing about a transformation in the way you think, giving you a solid foundation to stand on.

As this process begin to take place, you will be tested and as the word says \”tried by fire\” because the enemy wants to test your faith in that very word.

Let not your faith in the word waver but trust that what you are believing for will come to pass.

The Word is your SWord.

After seeking the answer to your troubles in the Word of God, applying faith to that Word, the enemy will come to try you… but hold your ground and don’t be moved. Believe in your heart and declare with your mouth and you shall have whatsoever you say.

The enemy comes to steal the word because he knows that word will set you free. You were made to prevail, so be not conformed.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; [Hebrews 10:23]

You will WIN!

In the battle of shedding weight, I\’ve had to learn to be not swayed and use the word when being tested. As long as a I stay steadfast, that word will not fail.

I believe God will do what I am requesting and that He is not a man that He shall lie. [Numbers 23:19]
