Discovering the Truth – Abraham Hick vs Jesus Christ

Has anyone else been feeling \”battle minded\” lately?

I mean seriously! I have been in a place mentally where I am just sick of the darkness in the earth. There is so much of it and so many people who see nothing wrong or they just choose to go against what is being presented to them.

Recently, I had this revelation about a lady that most people know as Abraham Hicks, her real identity is Esther. About 10 years ago, I lived my daily life based on the teachings of Abraham. I listened to her audio tracks day and night, studying her entire life and way of thinking. I began applying her teachings and after a while I began to see changes taking place in my life. I have manifested several life\’s experiences and lots of good things based on what I learned from her.

Everything seemed to be going so great until it stopped working… After a while I began to feel as though I was in uncharted territory and things actually felt more difficult than ever to maintain. (1), I manifested a new home and was no longer able to sustain the cost. (2), I manifested a new car, but eventually had to give it back because I could not keep up with the payments. (3), I sold or gave away everything I owned because I was determined to become detached from the material things in this world, i.e.… I became a minimalist.

Nothing that I obtained from her teaching seemed to last and it began to make me question myself and what I was doing wrong. I mean, I was saying affirmations daily, managing the thoughts through meditation and even visualizing and exercising all through my day. As far as I was concerned, I was doing ALL of the work, but still was not able to sustain a high level of living.

A few years back I purchased her book called \”The Law of Attraction,\” which I intended to read from cover to cover so that I could truly become \”Abraham like.\” For some reason, I would start the book and I could not get past the first few chapters. Years later, after my life spiraled, I started asking God why did he bring me here to have to do all of this work just to survive; little did I know I would receive an answer that I least suspected.

The Day My Life Changed

Because I did not have any alternatives to lean on, I continued to do affirmations, but this time I started to work on my relationship with money. I used Reverend Ike affirmations, passed on to me by my mom. I said these affirmations several times per day and a few weeks later, God began to open up doors that drew me in the direction of increase and landed me in a church.

It was there in a Word of Faith Church that God began to minister to me in a way that I\’d never experienced before. It was as if the Pastor knew exactly what I had been going through and spoke directly to me. He informed me of things that I had been involved with and prophesied to me about what God had in store for me. In that moment, the feeling that came over me was the most power that I\’d experienced in my entire life. That was the day my life changed.

The Battlefield

From that day forward I realized that because I have become born again, Satan has waged war on me. Each thought that goes through our minds are not our own and we must be willing to guard our minds. This, according to the Bible, is the \”loins\” that we must gird with the truth. The enemy has no power or authority over us unless we give it to him. His only way in is through our thoughts. The mind is the battlefield.

Abraham Hicks vs The Gospel of Jesus Christ

Abraham teaches that we can channel alternative spirits in the non-physical realm to help guide us along our life\’s journey. She or \”they\” teach that if we follow the path of least resistance then we will live in bliss and can become in control of creating our reality. This involved creating a pattern of positive thinking or \”getting into the vortex\” where it is stated that everything we desire already exists.

The Bible teaches that we are born into a cursed world where we need to be born again by faith to establish a connection with God through Jesus Christ (the anointed one) and then we inherit His Holy Spirit (the anointing). Once becoming born again, it\’s not by our own might or works that we overcome the struggles of this world but by the Spirit that God has placed in the Earth for us through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Bible says that He took our sins (or wrongs) into his own flesh and died on our behalf so that we experience God\’s forgiveness for anything we have done wrong. Because we have accepted Christ, we get to experience pure blessings in the earth and actually create miracles on purpose by using His Word(s).

In Conclusion

I used to be curious about those people who had never heard about Jesus Christ and I believed that it was not fair for those individuals to die and go to Hell without ever hearing the good news of Christ. God revealed to me that He appeals to each and every one of us in some way or another. In Abraham\’s book The Law of Attraction, the first few chapters actually spell out their interaction with Jesus and how they strayed away.

I have found that the tactics that the enemy is using in this last day are not to completely destroy you, but to keep you from truly believing in the goodness of God and the truth of who Jesus Christ is so that you stay oblivious and prolong what is inevitable for him. The Bible says that it is not condemnation or guilt that makes people turn to God but His Love. When people experience the true Love of God and they come to know who He is truly, they will never turn away. God\’s desire is to Love us and do good to us no matter what we \”do.\” He is not a God who allows bad things to happen to good people. In fact, He is the one who has come to save us from it by providing His Word as a sword to combat the resistance. We are here to experience Heaven on Earth, Jesus said in the Bible that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. You don\’t have to wait until you die to experience it. By faith, we use His Word to create our reality and to resist the devil (the adversary).

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. – 2 Chronicles 7:14
